The Zeya Portable Diffuser was designed as an adaptable, architectural object that seamlessly integrates into a variety of interior spaces. Roughly the size of a deck of cards, its compact rectangular form allows it to sit discreetly on a nightstand, desk, or bathroom shelf—or mount securely onto vertical surfaces using a minimalist clip system. This mounting mechanism allows users to position the diffuser wherever fragrance is needed: walls, bathroom tiles, desks, or bedside tables.
At the heart of the design is a replaceable fragrance card, inserted and ejected with a cassette tape-like interaction. This analog gesture adds a deliberate, tactile moment to the otherwise modern device, encouraging an intentional engagement with scent.
Zeya is defined by its bold, angular vent pattern—a dominant feature that both ventilates and signals function. Set at a repeating diagonal, the vents create a strong geometric identity, balancing form and function. This bold pattern, paired with the diffuser’s clean lines, gives it an architectural character—one designed to complement the built environment, rather than disappear within it.
